For my senior project I am raising funds and collecting school supplies to send over to an orphanage in Kenya. With the funds I will buy school supplies and transport the supplies to Kenya early 2009.

Since I entered highschool, I always wanted my senior project to deal with traveling to Africa and making a difference in the lives of people there. I didn't know how I was going to make this happen until my mom mentioned working with Carol and Steve Carlyle; two missionaries from my church. I met up with them in July of 2008 and we started discussing how to make my project work. Little did I know that my project was almost exactly like that of a past high school graduate from my school and he had worked with Steve and Carol. This was a great relief so some of us in this project have some experience.

I've only just started on this project and already I have learned so much and cannot wait until the finish product comes along early next year. And if possible a trip along to Africa with this would be even a larger blessing than this project has even been so far in my life.
