Serving the Lord in Rwanda, this last January was a great honor. Missionary Carol Carlyle and Evangelists Rev. Sam and Karen Knapp worked with Bishop Bernard and Rose Ndutiye based in Rwanda. There was much celebration while meeting with Bishop Bernard and his church in Kigali, Rwanda. It was exciting and affirming to the great work of God happening in Rwanda.

Meeting with hundreds of faithful believers in the churches was only one part of our mission activities in Rwanda. The team also met with nearly 520 business leaders who are doing a micro-business project, saving and loaning money to help create local businesses.

One of the greatest joys was visiting the prison in Kigali, the capital city of Rwanda. Our team worshipped, prayed, preached, joined in celebratory dance with nearly 4,480 prisoners, most of whom where in prison as part of the genocide in 1994. We had heard one the greatest movements of the Holy Spirit was happening in the prisons in Rwanda. We experienced this and it was one of the most precious moments of our trip.
