This acrylic and water color painting by Carol Carlyle is an illustration of the richness of her wedding covenant under God's covering with her husband Stephen Carlyle. The beauty of the velvety blue softly swaying grass in the breeze reflect the royalty of Christ's seeds planted firmly in the hills close to the sandy shores which God adores. The majesty of the pink and blue iridescent horses illustrates them coming together in agreement to form an inseparable team. The power of the storms of life is represented by the explosion of the royal blue, purple and fuchsia colors in the ocean water. Not shaken by life's storms, calmly the proposal is made at the foot of the cross by a couple with child-like faith. In the mist of the clouds a women looks on and a man softly kisses her cheek, God's seal, a promise well done. The focus and strength of the picture is the blue cross of Christ filled with the finger prints of mankind, for whose sins He died. The brilliance of the sky echoes the angles' songs of praise at the glory of the risen son, Jesus Christ, God's only Son.
